Voodoo Carnival
A not-so-traditional Mardi Gras Masquerade Costume Ball -the Voodoo Carnival will be held on February 5th, 2011 from 9:00 pm to 2:00 pm at The Southgate House in Newport, KY. This event is hosted by Queen City Cabaret and offers a collection of performers including the Pickled Bros. Sideshow, Zahara’s Tangled Web, Robin Marks, Switchblade Syndicate and more. There is also a contest for the best-dressed man and woman to be crowned the king and queen of the Voodoo Carnival! Tickets for the event are $10 in advance and $15 day of the show, ages 18 and up.
