The Black-n-Bluegrass Big Hits and Big Hearts campaign would like to welcome FRIENDS of the SHELTER as our featured community organization for our October bout. They are a volunteer organization whose purpose is to oppose cruelty in all forms, encourage humane handling and care of animals, advance spay/neuter programs, promote the animal shelters and strive for responsible adoptions and ownership. They have programs in Boone, Campbell, Kenton, Gallatin, Grant and Pendleton counties.
