Wanna be a roller girl for Black & Bluegrass Roller Girls? We are planning a bootcamp on 2/16/17 and 2/23/17. Bootcamp begins at 7:30 and will end by 10pm. There is a small participation fee of $5 each night. Tryouts are based on the minimum skill set required by Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). We are primarily looking for skating skills, as well as athletic potential. You must be female and at least 18 years of age to participate.
Boot Camp and Tryouts are at Lloyd’s Roller Rink in Covington: 121 East 31st Street
Covington, KY 41015.
Make sure to arrive early to get geared up and registered! Skaters must bring their own quad skates, a mouth guard, and plenty of water. If you have your own gear, bring it! (Knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards and helmets will be available for you to borrow if needed.) Interested skating and non-skating officials are welcome.
