Spring cleaning is here! The Black-n-Bluegrass Roller Girls will be cleaning up the highway they adopted last year through the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s Adopt a Highway program! BBRG’s three mile stretch is located at the intersection of Dixie Highway/US 25, and runs all the way to Turway and Donaldson by Mary Queen of Heaven. You can see our signs up on the corner of Turfway and Dixie Hwy as well as Turfway and Donaldson Hwy.
BBRG had an absolutely great time last year, all while removing 16 giant plastic bags in just a 4 hour period of time. It is a rewarding experience and the team is looking forward to doing it again!
If you are in the area and take a picture of the girls, submit it to the BBRG Facebook page!
Check back form upcoming photos, and feel free to come out and support the ladies from 1:30-5pm on March 23rd!

The Black-n-Bluegrass Roller Girls are trading their helmets in for hard hats on Sunday March 11th to help the victims of the tornado. The night after the storms a group of the girls got together to see what they could do. After reaching out to family and friends, the Northern Pendleton Fire Department welcomed the girls and their fans to come out and help. The girls will help remove debris and with general clean up.
If you are interested in helping please email volunteer@black-n-bluegrass.com for more information. The girls will also be hosting a serviceman night during their season opener at the Bank of Kentucky Center on May 19th. Discounted tickets will be available for fireman, police, and EMT.
