BBRG Fans: Now You Can “Show Your Hudy” for $1 at a Bigger Venue!
I’m talking about beer – what were you thinking? (You should be ashamed of yourself, geez.) There’s a grand Roller Derby tradition of offering $1 beer at bouts, and we are so happy to be able to do the same for our fans – with a local favorite, no less. Our brewer is bringing back some local faves, including Hudy Delight and Hudy 14-K. Is it too corny to say we’re “Delighted” to be partnering with them? Guess it’s too late to worry about that now that I already said it…. Plus, we line up at the Hudy Delight Start Line each & every jam!
Anyway. Because the Hudy peeps are so awesome and see how much fun it will be to be an integral part of the Black-n-Bluegrass Experience (Jimi Hendrix, eat your heart out), they are our exclusive beer sponsor for the home season. So if 50-plus girls on skates (and in fishnets) hitting each other doesn’t do it for ya, come out for the BEER. ‘Nuff said.

We had such a great turnout at the first home bout due to the aforementioned happy hour, incredible ticket presales, and great promotion by our partners that we have to move to a bigger place to accommodate everyone! We had record attendance numbers – so an unprecedented number of fans got to see both BBRG teams win on their home turf.

Midwest Hoops, off KY-18 near Turfway Rd.
Doors open at 6pm, double-header starts at 6:30
Plenty of free parking, full bar and concessions and lots of room for fans!
